UV Absorbers
UV light stabilizers prevent degradation of polymers by scavenging free radicals formed when plastic materials are exposed to sunlight.
SABOSTAB® UV 312
Oxanilide UV absorber for plastics and adhesives & sealants
SABOSTAB® UV 312 is an effective UV Absorber light stabilizer in a broad range of plastic and adhesives applications. Plastic applications include polyamides, PVC (rigid and flexible), polyesters (thermoplastic and thermoset), polyurethanes, PMMA, acrylates, styrenics (PS, ABS, SAN, ASA), UPES, epoxide resins, PC, adhesives and sealants and PP at low loading level.
The product is an Oxanilide class UVA suitable for use in clear or transparent plastics, adhesives and sealants applications for appliances, building and construction, automotive, industrial, marine environments and architectural applications.
Features:

- Very low color, almost colorless in transparent and clear applications

SABOSTAB® UV 81
Benzophenone UV absorber
SABOSTAB® UV 81 is an effective light stabilizer in a broad range of plastic applications, including LDPE, LLDPE, and EVA agricultural films, polypropylene and TPO thick sections, flexible PVC, thermoset polyesters (UPES), and others.
The product is also suitable for use in industrial coatings where moderate resistance to weathering is required.

SABOSTAB® UV 1
Liquid formamidine UV absorber for polyurethanes
SABOSTAB® UV 1 is highly effective for the light stabilization of PUR in a wide range of applications, including microcellular foams and integral skin foams for footwear, conventional rigid and flexible foams, fabric coatings for artificial leather, adhesives, sealants, and elastomers (spray, RIM, etc.).
It is conveniently added to PUR systems as a solution in the polyol component (polyether- or polyester-based).

SABOSTAB® UV 37
Benzoate light stabilizer synergist for plastics
SABOSTAB® UV 37 is a highly effective synergist used to boost the performance of other light stabilizers such as hindered amine light stabilizers (HALS) and UV absorbers. Such combination systems often show a level of light stabilization performance far exceeding HALS or UV absorbers used alone and are particularly useful for the light stabilization of polyolefins (PE, PP, TPO), Styrenics (ABS, SAN, PS, SEBS, SBS), rigid PVC, polyacetals, polyurethanes, polyesters (PET, PBT) and polycarbonate (PC/PC blends).
SABOSTAB® UV 37 acts also as an effective processing and thermal stabilizer.

Hindered amine light stabilizer (HALS) for plastics and coatings
SABOSTAB® UV 65 is an effective light stabilizer in a broad range of plastic and coating applications.
Plastic applications include polyurethanes, flexible PVC, styrenic polymers (ABS, ASA), acrylics, unsaturated polyesters, elastomers, adhesives, and sealants. The product is also ideal for use in plastisols and liquid masterbatches for plastics.
The product is suggested for halogenated flame retardant systems where low acid sensitivity is needed.

SABOSTAB® UV 119
Hindered amine light stabilizer (HALS) for plastics and coatings
SABOSTAB® UV 119 is a highly effective light stabilizer in a broad range of polymers and applications, including polyolefins (PE, PP), TPO, styrenic polymers (ABS, ASA), polyamide fibers, polyurethanes, and elastomers.
The advantages of the product render it particularly useful in PE-based agricultural films, PP fibers, and talc-filled PP and TPO automotive compounds. It is also recommended for use in powder coatings where it contributes to the triboelectric effect as well as providing excellent light stability.
